"Forgive Them" –  Inspired by Luke 23:34
 
This striking oil painting captures a pivotal moment at the crucifixion of Christ—the Roman soldiers, indifferent to the suffering of Jesus, cast lots for His seamless tunic. In their actions, they unknowingly fulfill the ancient prophecy of Psalm 22:18: “They divide my garments among them, and for my clothing they cast lots.”
