Why Choose an Original Oil Painting?

Unlike a digital image that may stay on a phone or computer, an original oil painting becomes a tangible family heirloom—something displayed in your home, passed down through generations, and cherished for years to come. Each piece is painted by hand using professional archival materials and created specifically to tell your unique story.

Live Wedding Paintings

Now booking live weddings paintings for November 2026 and Beyond

What is a live Wedding Painting?

A live wedding painting is a one-of-a-kind keepsake created during your wedding day. As the celebration unfolds, I capture both the beauty of the venue and a meaningful moment between the couple — whether that be the first kiss, reading vows, or walking hand in hand down the aisle. Throughout the reception, guests can watch the painting come to life, making the artwork itself part of the wedding experience.

What locations do you travel to?

I am based in the DFW metroplex and can travel to any venue within that location. I am also available for weddings outside the DFW metroplex. Additional travel fees may apply depending on location to cover mileage or airfare, hotel, and a rental car as needed.

What type of paint do you use?

I use professional quality oil paints on cotton canvas. Furthermore, each painting will be professionally varnished before delivery.

How much time is needed to complete the painting? Where and when will you paint?

I arrive to the venue a couple hours before the ceremony so I can paint in the venue. Once the ceremony starts, I will snap a couple pictures of the bride and groom and then use these photos to paint from for the rest of the evening. I can then relocate to the reception (or wherever the bride and groom want) and paint for the rest of the reception.

What happens after the wedding?

After a memorable, fun-filled wedding, I take the painting back with me. It’s one less thing for you to worry about transporting after the wedding and it allows me to make finishing touches on the painting. I will also add a protective varnish before arranging pickup or mailing your painting to you. Then you just have to decide where to display it in your home!

Studio Wedding Paintings

Now booking Studio Wedding Paintings.

What is a Studio Wedding Painting?

A Studio Wedding Painting is created after your wedding using your professional wedding photographs as reference. Unlike a live wedding painting, this option allows us to work together to select the exact moment you want to preserve—whether it's your first kiss, exchanging vows, your first dance, walking back down the aisle, or another meaningful memory from your day.

Because the painting is completed entirely in the studio, the process is highly collaborative and customizable. We can discuss your vision, choose your favorite photographs, and create a composition that reflects your story. I can focus on refining every detail—from your expressions and attire to the lighting, florals, and atmosphere—resulting in a timeless oil painting designed to become a cherished family heirloom.

Why choose a Studio Wedding Painting?

  • Choose your exact moment from your professional wedding gallery.

  • Highly customizable composition based on your vision and favorite photographs.

  • Refined studio process with careful attention to every detail.

  • No artist needed on your wedding day, allowing you to simply enjoy your celebration.

  • A timeless heirloom to display in your home for generations.

Engagement  Portrait Paintings

Engagement Portrait Paintings should be booked at least 2 months before your wedding date to allow adequate time for completion.

What is an Engagement Portrait Painting?

Celebrate this exciting season with a custom oil painting created from your engagement photographs. Together, we'll select your favorite image and transform it into a timeless piece of fine art that reflects your unique love story.

Unlike a Live Wedding Painting or Studio Wedding Painting, an Engagement Portrait Painting is completed before your wedding day, allowing you to display the finished artwork during your celebration. Many couples showcase their painting at the welcome table, guest book display, gift table, or reception entrance, adding a meaningful and personal touch to their wedding décor.

After the wedding, your painting becomes a lasting reminder of where your journey together began—a beautiful heirloom to display in your home for years to come.

Why choose an Engagement Portrait Painting?

  • Display a completed original oil painting at your wedding.

  • Create a meaningful focal point for your welcome table, guest book, or reception décor.

  • Commemorate your engagement before your wedding day.

  • Work together to select your favorite engagement photograph and customize the composition.

  • Enjoy a timeless heirloom in your home long after the celebration.
