Description of Work: The Artist has agreed to create a live wedding painting for the client as specified in the contract.
Size of Work: 16x20 inches (0.75 inches thick)
Base Price of Work: See Contract
Medium: Traditional Oil Paints
Copyright: The artist, Chloe Lacefield retains the copyright of the work of art in this
contract, and the right to post on her social media. The Client reserves the right to the original photo. No reproduction of this painting will be created without the permission of both parties.
Estimated date of Completion: 3-6 weeks after the wedding date.
Delivery of Artwork: The piece will be delivered by the artist to the client at an agreed upon location at an agreed upon time following the completion of the artwork.
Conditions of Contract and Payment: In order to reserve the wedding date in the artist’s schedule and for any work to begin, a retainer of 50% of the total price is due upon signing the contract and is not refundable. Artist has agreed to spit the Retainer and Remaining Balance into a total of 4 payments. 1st half of the Retainer is due upon signature and the 2nd half is due on November 1st.
Both a signature stating that you agree to the stipulations of the contract is required as well as the initial retainer in order for the contract to be valid.
The first deposit is required within 2 weeks from the time this contract has been sent. In this case, it is due by 9/9/2026. If no payment has been received by this date at midnight Central time, this contract is void and the artist will have no obligation towards the client and vice versa.
The remaining 50% will be due at two separate times, the first 25% will be due a week before the wedding and the 2nd 25% will be due upon completion of the painting before delivery can be scheduled.
Method of Payment: Paypal, Venmo, and Credit Cards are all accepted forms of payment. If you want to pay by check please contact the artist.
