Hello, I am Chloe :)
Hi, I am Chloe Lacefield, a studio artist, illustrator and art teacher based in Fort Worth! With every stroke of the paintbrush or pen I seek not only to achieve excellence in each piece but to also capture the passion, the beauty, and the emotion. As a skilled artist in many mediums (oil, watercolor, charcoal, pastel, pen and ink, Adobe, etc.), I strive to create art that not only evokes emotion, but also gives people a better glimpse of God along with a better knowledge of Him. My work is grounded in my desire to glorify Him in all that I do and to love others as He has loved me.

My Story
From a young age, it has been apparent to my friends and family that God has gifted me with a natural talent in the arts. For more than 7 years I have been honing my skills and pursuing art professionally. God opened doors to allow me to earn my B.A. in Studio Arts from Dallas Baptist University, where I learned the fundamentals of sketching, painting, and Adobe Programs. During that time, I was personally mentored under the accomplished artist and educator Jim Hutchinson, MFA. During my internship at Studio Sabka in Fort Worth, I gained experience in various styles of painting, in printmaking, and in hands-on teaching. During my time there I was gifted with the opportunity to be apprenticed under the renowned Laert Aleksi Xhafier. Currently I teach private art lessons at Studio Sabka on the weekends (Thurs-Sat), work on commissions, serve at my local church, and spend time with friends and family.
Although I have grown exponentially as an artist, I never want to stop learning or striving for excellence. None of the greats that have gone before me stopped learning and I do not intend to be any different. My desire is to give each of my clients my best, to glorify God with my efforts, and to create a deep and profound message. My greatest wish is that at the end of my life and painting career, for my art to tell a story of the goodness and faithfulness of God.
